Privacy & cookies

Last updated: 30 October 2026. This notice explains the optional website analytics used on earlybabyscan.co.uk.

Who operates this website?

This information website is associated with Babies in the Womb. For questions about this site or your information, please use our contact page.

Your analytics choice

Google Analytics is off until you choose “Accept analytics”. You can decline and continue using the site. You can change your choice at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Your choice is remembered on this browser for six months, unless you clear your browser data.

What analytics measures

If you accept, Google Analytics measures page visits, basic device and browser information, traffic sources, and actions such as clicking a booking, phone, email or enquiry link. An enquiry submission event records that the form was submitted; it does not confirm a booking, phone call or delivery of an enquiry.

Our analytics code does not send form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, medical details or pregnancy information entered into the enquiry form. Page addresses and referring addresses are sent without query strings or fragments. Advertising personalization and Google signals are turned off in this implementation.

Cookies and browser storage

An essential browser preference remembers your analytics choice. If you accept analytics, Google may set first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_… to distinguish visits and sessions. These analytics cookies are configured to last up to six months. Declining analytics, including after previously accepting, stops new analytics events and removes these analytics cookies from this site on this browser.

Google’s processing of analytics data

Google processes analytics information on our behalf. This can involve processing outside the UK, under Google’s applicable data-protection arrangements. Read Google’s privacy policy and how Google safeguards Analytics data for more information. We do not use these Analytics tags for advertising or remarketing.

Enquiries and booking services

If you contact the clinic, the information you choose to submit is handled to respond to your enquiry. Contact forms and booking services have their own processing requirements; declining analytics does not stop them working. Please avoid sending urgent or unnecessary medical information through this website.

Your rights and questions

Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to its use, and withdraw consent. Contact the clinic through our contact page to raise a request. You can also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office.
